He is a photographer working mainly in Warsaw, Poland, but also enjoying the exploration of European cities in search of images. In his photography, he seeks to reveal the extraordinary within the ordinary — in the everyday life of the city. Bartek does not document reality; instead, he points to the peculiarities that surround us, either by showing them directly or through deliberate framing choices. His photographs often contain elements of absurdity, grotesque, cynicism, and a touch of humor. He dislikes routine, which is why he frequently experiments with color, shadow, and reflection. As he says: “The longer I photograph, the more I realize that I am photographing myself and observing myself in these images.”
